We serve brunch every single day of the year, a three-minute walk from Santiago Cathedral. It is not a big breakfast and it is not a small lunch: it is a full table you share slowly, with Galician produce and everything cooked to order.

You will find us at Rúa de San Clemente, 6, in the middle of the old town, with an indoor dining room and two terraces. If you are coming at the weekend or on a public holiday, book ahead.

What the café La Morena brunch includes

The cLM brunch is 30 € per person and is served for a minimum of two people. It includes:

  • A jug of water.
  • Freshly squeezed orange juice.
  • A hot drink: coffee or tea.
  • Fruit salad with tender shoots, fresh fruit, confit tomato and nuts.
  • A board of cheese and cecina with white truffle oil, boletus cream and chestnut crackers.
  • One toast of your choice from our menu, per person.
  • To finish, your pick of cake of the day, pancakes or a waffle, to share between two.

Gluten-free options are available — just tell us when you book or when you order. Allergens in the brunch: lactose, gluten, egg and nuts.

A brunch for every kind of morning

If you fancy something lighter you do not have to take the full brunch: the menu also has toasts, bagels, croissants, yoghurt bowls and chia pudding, plus full breakfasts with coffee or tea included.

And if you turn up mid-afternoon, from 16:30 to 20:00 we serve the same kitchen as an afternoon menu: toasts, burgers, burritos, croissants and homemade cakes.

Yes. You can also swap the bread on any toast for a crisp arepa.
