Two terraces in the old town of Santiago
OPEN EVERY DAY FROM 08:00 · RÚA DE SAN CLEMENTE, 6 · THREE MINUTES FROM THE CATHEDRAL
We are on Rúa de San Clemente, on the edge of the old town, less than five minutes on foot from the Cathedral. And we have two terraces, which is unusual in the centre of Santiago.
The front terrace opens onto Praza de San Clemente: parasols, tables in the afternoon sun and the comings and goings of the old town. The back terrace is the one nobody expects: glazed, quiet, looking out over the green allotments of the river Sarela and the old stone bridge. Same menu on both.
They run from first thing in the morning until closing: coffee at eight, brunch mid-morning, lunch, afternoon cake and, on Fridays and Saturdays, drinks and cocktails until 00:30.
What you can have on the terrace
The full menu is served outside too. Through the day:
- 08:00 – 13:00 · breakfast, toasts, bagels, croissants and bowls.
- 11:00 – 16:15 · the cLM brunch, 30 € per person.
- 13:30 – 16:15 · lunch: Galician-style octopus, empanada from our own bakery, cheese boards, croquettes, salads, burgers and burritos.
- 16:30 – 20:00 · afternoon snacks and homemade cakes.
- 20:00 – 23:00 · dinner, and house cocktails at 7 €.
How to find us
Rúa de San Clemente, 6, 15705 Santiago de Compostela. From the Praza do Obradoiro it is about three minutes downhill along San Clemente; from the Alameda park, two. It is a pedestrian area, so the easiest thing is to leave the car at the Alameda or Xoán XXIII car park and walk down.
Opening hours
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:00
Friday and Saturday: 08:00 – 00:30
Sunday: 08:00 – 23:00
The terraces depend on the weather, and this is Santiago — so if you are coming especially for them, call us first on +34 981 024 634 and we will tell you how the afternoon is looking.
